Inspiration

My Collection

I never find myself satisfied with all that published literature, and the facility of internet has helped me a lot in that aspect. I have searched a lot in order to find any thing good, I can, and found some in the long run. I have packed them in my Inspiration section so that you can get a glance not only at published but on unpublished writers as well

Published

Dr. Allama Iqbal

One name that need not to be introduced at all and I don't think it is a surprising fact that he is in my inspiration list because he is an inspiration of almost everyone. Even those people, who have never showed any attraction towards literature or poetry, have admired him because his poems are not just about literature or words. These are the poems that are considered as one of the root-cause of the thought that resulted into the creation of Pakistan; my country. And I think it is useless to distinguish which poem of his I like the most and which I not, because after reading him you can't decide which one you like more than the other."

J.K.Rowling

"My first inspiration in the language of English is JK Rowling, the author and the creator of Harry Potter. It was for the first time when I felt that writing is as much fun as reading. Through this writer I've added a decent amount of vocabulary on my part and I have always consider her as my teacher, from whom, I learnt without any lecture. I have read all her seven novel and am impatiently waiting for her next two ones."

Enid Blyton

"Her novels and series of 'secret seven' have always attracted me in order to get more familiar with the psychology of children and some basic colloqiual language used in west. As I'm an alien to English and I never spoke english in my daily life, so this writer has a very special place in my inspiration..."

Umera Ahmad

"Umera Ahmad, a beautiful name and an author immerging in Urdu Literature. She has intended everyone to change his views and thoughts. She has realized the importance of religion in true sense. One thing that I found similar about Umera is that she has always used simple and natural language but descriptive and brilliant. Her novels are not just a show off of vocabulary but they have message that stick into your mind forever."

Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi

Simply love his dramas and short stories. His dramas are true reflection of our society and it's ups and downs. I'm so proud of a great writer like him to be belonged to my country.

E. Heminway

"Though I haven't read much of him, but I've learnt alot even in this little experience of reading him. Simple sentences, arresting expressions and most importantly his protogonists who are real heroes according to me. I have always found his writings much closer to the reality than anyone else I read."

Charles Dickens

It'd definitely be useless to tell why I like Dickens' work. He's a universal writer and I just can't get enough of reading him.

A conversation with my father

"A beautiful essay by --------- that proves that it is a 'fiasco' to write something that, you think, can satisfy two individuals belonging to diverse taste."

One Art

"Indeed a poem by Elizabeth Bishop that teaches you a vital lesson, and to be frank I found this poem a very useful one in my real life 'Losing things isn't a disaster'"

Unpublished

"Very Beautiful story that depicts the importance of friendship"

"The power of prayer" Poem by Made2LuvU

"Of course I don't think this poem need words... It's name reveals the meaning of this poem"

"Sapphire skies over milan"short novel by Amelia Klock

"Sweet mini-novel I must say. I like the way she has written it. Amelia is very precise in explaining thoughts, emotions and creating suspence"

"Energetic little poem by my very own friend Kiran Baig, who loves and adores nature. This is a short poem but still I like the dialogue between River and Air"
